Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
bop ("we", "us") lets you plan your day stop by stop and, if you choose, share it. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using bop (joinbop.com), you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Account info: if you create an account, your email address and a hashed password.
- Your bops: the day plans, stops, notes, ratings, and photos you create. Photos stay on your device unless a future feature syncs them.
- Usage data: basic, privacy-friendly analytics about how the app is used (e.g. pages viewed, bops created or shared) and standard device/log information.
How we use it
- To provide the service: save your bops, sync them across your devices, and let you share or publish them.
- To send service emails: a welcome email, and password-reset emails when you request one. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
- To understand and improve how bop works.
Publishing & profiles
Bops are private by default. If you choose to publish a bop, it becomes visible to anyone on your public profile and in discovery features. You can unpublish it at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted service providers to run bop, who process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase: database, authentication, and storage.
- Resend: sending account emails.
- PostHog: product analytics.
- Netlify: website hosting.
Cookies & local storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep your bops on your device and to keep you signed in. Analytics may use cookies or similar technology.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete any bop at any time.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us (account deletion is also being added in-app).
Children
bop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
